Firgrove March Gladness Project:
Our gracious volunteer March Gladness Coordinator, Stacy Hess, is launching our March Gladness Project: Firgrove Beautification. This is in lieu of Pennies for Patients. Each grade level/department will be assigned a section of the school grounds that will be identified on a map and posted on the door in the staff room near the minutes board. Teams can decide when they're able to do their beautification time. Watch-out for postings via the staff room door and/or email by Stacy. (Thank you for taking this on, Stacy.)

REPEATED POST: The March 7th Supplemental Day Plan below is based on the February 16th email sent by John Parker, Director of Student Learning for Region 2 with Math and Science Focus. It is appropriate to share this information in your parent newsletter when you remind them that March 7th is a non-school day.
Focus of training:
Kindergarten to Grade 5: Each teacher will receive the necessary training to implement Number Corner activities for the month of April.

Grade 6: Creating a 2-month instructional plan for CMP Using our new diagnostic and common assessments Planning intervention based on assessment results.

Audience:
Staff from all K-6 classrooms including Special Education, English Language Learning, Title I, LAP, Librarians, and Music will select and report to one of the grade level trainings listed below. Please note grade level sites are reflected on the registration within the Staff Professional Development Website (see below).
